About Alex

Alex is an energetic sixth-grader in Los Gatos, California, who loves sports. He was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer.

He is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and in August, Alex will have surgery to remove his leg to prevent the spread of the cancer. To get the latest news about Alex and volunteer opportunities, please visit his personal webpage at lotsahelpinghands.com.

The Alex Solis Benefit Fund

The Alex Solis Benefit Fund was established to help cover the cost of Alex's treatment and recovery. All proceeds go directly towards a prosthetic leg for Alex so he can remain an active 11-year-old boy who plays with his friends and participates in all the sports he loves so dearly.
